Spring 2002 Journal

A travelling we shall go again. Mountains are amazing! Attempting to understand the incredible forces that carved and shaped these valleys is difficult to comprehend. The time scale that Earth's processes occur along is mind-boggling to think about. It makes my lifetime seems so short. I am learning to read the mountains - the mountains will tell you about themselves if you look hard enough.
Learning HOW to observe is the greatest skill a scientist can learn. You can learn about anything if you look at it with an open mind and imagination
