Overview and Course Fees

Most students from North American colleges and universities will be able to transfer their existing financial aid arrangements to the program. Academic credits earned through the University of New Hampshire are transferable to home institutions in most cases. We are also establishing an in-house scholarship fund which will eventually assist students who do not otherwise have sufficient financial support. Please contact the EcoQuest Admissions Director at ecoquest@unh.edu or submit a request online with any further questions concerning financial aid and academic credit transfer.

Semester program (15-week) program fees are $15,200. Summer session (5-week) fees are $4,850. Fees include tuition, room, board, and in-country program travel. Transport to and from New Zealand is not included.

Upon formal offer of acceptance to the program, the UNH-EcoQuest Admissions Office will provide a detailed package, including a Confidential Medical History form (documenting proof of personal health insurance), Release and Waiver of Liability form, Student and Academic Handbook (including syllabus, withdrawal and refund policy), and other program related information. Included in this package is a detailed budget of all expected program related expenses. All acceptances are contingent upon medical approval by the EcoQuest Risk Manager.
